To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have a grade point average of 3.00 or higher for the spring semester. Across all three NCAA divisions, the NAIA, and the NJCAA, 763 teams from 432 institutions were honored.
The teams are led by Head Coach Doug Milliken, who recently completed his 15th year at the helm of the programs, Assistant Coach Matthew Schaeffer, and Diving Coach Morgan Gougler. In every season of Milliken's leadership, the CWRU swimming and diving teams have each earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
The CWRU women's swimming and diving team finished 17th at the national championship meet with eight members of the team receiving All-America honors, and the Spartan men's team placed 25th with five members earning All-America recognition.
