The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team earned its second consecutive top 20 national finish to complete an outstanding 2024-25 season.
All eight members of the CWRU team who competed at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships, held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, received All-America honors. The team totaled 54.0 points, the sixth most in program history at a national championship, and placed 17th, tied for the fifth best ever national placement. Senior Abigail Wilkov completed a historic career by placing second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. The team secured top 16 finishes in the 200 Free Relay (12th), 400 Free Relay (15th), and 800 Free Relay (14th).
Wilkov finished her career as a seven-time All-American, including six placements on the First Team. The most decorated diver in program history, her second-place national finishes are the best by any Spartan diver. She also became the second-ever member of the CWRU women's swimming and diving team to record two top two finishes in a career and in a single championship. Earlier in the year, she won the University Athletic Association championship on the 1-meter board, her second career All-UAA honor. Wilkov also was honored for her success in the classroom, earning the NCAA Elite 90 Award and CSC Division III Academic All-America Team Member of the Year honors in addition to an Academic All-America First Team selection.
Senior Gabriella Chambers earned three All-America honors in 2025 to finish her career with seven, matching Wilkov for ninth most in program history. During the season, she set school records in the 50 Free (23.31 seconds), 100 Free (50.80 seconds), 400 Medley Relay (3:48.80), 200 Free Relay (1:33.20), and 400 Free Relay (3:25.75) at the year-end Spartan Invite. Junior Claire Kozma swam on three All-America relays, senior Angeli Paull was on two relays, and junior Eliza Dixon, senior Kate Menzer, sophomore Maggie Rose Rook, and senior Simone Vale each received one All-America Second Team selection.
The 200 Free Relay of Chambers, Kozma, Vale, and senior Kelly Vann placed third at the UAA Championships to secure Case Western Reserve's second consecutive All-UAA finish in the event. Overall, the team placed sixth in the conference, setting two school records and recording seven NCAA B cut times during the four-day meet.
The team totaled six school records during the 2024-25 campaign, including three relays. Kozma swam a program-best time in the 100 Fly at the Total Performance Invite with a time of 54.97 seconds. She was also a member of the school-record setting 400 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay. Vale (400 Medley, 200 Free) and Menzer (400 Medley, 400 Free) each set two school records on relays with Dixon joining the 200 Free Relay and Paull on the 400 Free Relay.
During the regular season, the Spartans went 5-1 in dual meets, including an upset of top-ranked Kenyon in the team's last home dual of the year. The win over the Owls was the first for CWRU since 2000.
CWRU found success in the classroom with 32 members of the squad receiving UAA All-Academic honors. Kozma received Academic All-America Second Team honors from the CSC and Paull was named to the Academic All-America Third Team.
