CHICAGO – Junior captain Maggie Dillione (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) broke her own school record and won a conference championship in the 200-yard butterfly as the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming & diving team finished sixth out of eight teams at the 2013 University Athletic Association Championship at the Ratner Center.

In the team standings, No. 1 nationally-ranked Emory University (Ga.) won its 15th-straight UAA Championship with 1,955 points. No. 8 University of Chicago was runner-up with 1,435, while No. 10 Washington University-St. Louis ended up third at 1,219.5.

No. 7 Carnegie Mellon University (Pa.) wound up in fourth with 1,192.5 points, while No. 19 University of Rochester (N.Y.) rounded out the top five with 874.5 points. Case scored 739.5 points during the three-day meet.

Dillione, who holds the school records in both fly events, bettered her previous mark of 2:06.07 set back in 2011 with a first-place time of 2:03.20. Well under the NCAA "B-Cut", Dillione missed the "A-Cut" of 2:02.93 by just .27 seconds.

In the final event of the meet, the quartet of junior Sara Tillie (Fallston, Md./Fallston), freshmen Rachael Loek (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) and Rebecca Pakradooni (Augusta, Ga./Lakeside), along with Dillione finished sixth in the 400 free relay stopping the clock in 3:37.67.

Select members of the team will look to better national qualifying marks next Friday and Saturday, February 22-23 at the Midwest Invitational in Chicago.
