Three members of the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by The Ohio State University on Friday and Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

On Friday, senior Jack Blais placed 10th in the long jump with a leap of 6.36 meters. First-year Anna Callo tied for 18th in the pole vault after clearing 3.46 meters on her second attempt.

On Saturday, senior Anthony DeCarlo finished 10th in the pole vault by clearing 4.61 meters on his first attempt.

Members of the team will continue trying to improve their marks for postseason qualification with the Harrison Dillard Twilight on Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8 in Berea, Ohio.
