Seniors John Drumm and Claire Kozma of the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned All-America honors for their performances on the third day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Drumm received All-America First Team recognition for the second time in his career by placing seventh in the 200 Fly. He finished the championship final in 1:48.68 after recording a time of 1:47.21 in the prelims. It is the sixth career All-America honor for Drumm, tying him for sixth all-time in program history, and his second at the 2026 national championship. Last season, he placed eighth in the event after a 15th-place finish in 2024.
Kozma earned her third All-America Second Team honor at this year's championship with a 13th-place finish in the 200 Fly. She completed the consolation final in 2:02.66 after qualifying for the finals with a prelims time of 2:02.75. Kozma broke the program record of 2:03.02 set by Maggie Dillione in 2014, her seventh career program record. Kozma, who races in two more events on Saturday, moved into third place in Spartan lore with 11 career All-America honors. She placed 10th in the event in 2024, becoming just the second Spartan ever to earn two top-16 finishes in the 200 Fly after Dillione in 2013 and 2014.
The women's 800 Free Relay of Kozma, junior Maggie Rose Rook, junior Ava Ellis, and sophomore Anna Brown placed 20th nationally with a time of 7:40.02. Additionally, the 200 Medley Relay of Ellis, first-year Sohalya Rawlins, senior Eliza Dixon, and sophomore Marina Oria finished 26th in 1:45.72.
For the men's team, first-year diver Ryan Wells placed 19th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 404.95.
After three days of competition, the CWRU men's team is 34th out of 43 schools in the team standings with 16.0 points. The Spartan women's team ranks 20th out of 39 schools in the team standings with 21.0 points.
