Case Western Reserve University first-year sprinter Gianna Phipps competed at the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.

Phipps ran in the third heat of the 400-meter dash, completing the race in 55.04 seconds. However, she was disqualified after the race upon video review.

The Spartan men's and women's track and field teams will begin the outdoor season with the W&L Track Carnival hosted by Washington & Lee University on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21.
