Case Western Reserve University senior thrower Michelle Lee won the University Athletic Association championship in the weight throw on Saturday to lead the women's track and field team on the first day of the 2026 UAA Indoor Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships hosted by Brandeis University at the Gosman Athletic Center in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Lee defended her title in the event with a toss of 16.17 meters on her third attempt. She is the first member of the CWRU women's track and field team to win back-to-back championships at the UAA Indoor Championships since Erin Hollinger placed first in the high jump in 2010 and 2011. Lee also earned her fourth career All-UAA honor and her third at the indoor championships.
