Last Week's Recap
#5 Women's Soccer (1-0-0)
- Defeated Calvin 2-0 on Senior Day on Saturday at DiSanto Field
- First-year Izzy Probst netted her third goal of the season and senior Jamie Goldfarb followed 99 seconds later with her seventh tally of the year
- Sophomore Ellie Palaian recorded her seventh shutout of the season and was named the UAA Athlete of the Week for Defense
Men's Soccer (1-0-1)
- Won 3-0 over Marietta on Wednesday night on the road with two goals from junior Adam Pluszczyk and one from junior Ohta Kamiya
- Earned a scoreless draw with Kenyon on Saturday afternoon in Gambier, Ohio
- Senior goalkeeper Bradley Winter secured shutouts in both contests, giving him seven for the season
Volleyball (3-1)
- Defeated Oberlin in three sets on Wednesday night at home in a return to Horsburgh Gymnasium
- Opened the 45th Annual ONU Invitational with a four-set victory over host Ohio Northern on Friday night
- Fell in four sets to Millikin on Saturday before responding with a five-set win over Albion to close the tournament
- Seniors Kalli Wall and Amanda Ngo were named to the All-Tournament Team
Football (0-1, 0-1 PAC)
- Opened conference play with a 28-23 loss to Westminster in the team's first home game of the season
- Junior quarterback Sam DeTillio threw for 386 yards and two touchdowns
- Senior linebacker Daniel King recorded 15 tackles, a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and 1.5 tackles for loss
Women's Tennis
- Sent nine players to the ITA Central Regional Championships at WashU in St. Louis over the weekend
- Senior Katalina Wang advanced to the quarterfinals of both the singles and doubles draws, going 5-2 overall
- The team compiled a singles record of 8-6 and doubles mark of 6-3 against the top players in the region
Men's Tennis
- Sent players to both the Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational at the University of Toledo and the Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Allegheny College
- Went 44-16 in singles and 23-4 in doubles matches at the two events over the weekend
- CWRU has opened its 2025-26 campaign with an 86-38 (.694) record in singles play and a 35-17 (.673) mark in doubles play over the first two weekends of the season
#27 Men's and Women's Cross Country
- Competed at All-Ohio Classic on Friday night in Cedarville, Ohio, and at the Pre-National Meet on Saturday morning in Spartanburg, South Carolina
- The CWRU women placed third in the pre-national meet, while the men finished fourth in South Carolina and fifth among Division III teams in Ohio
