Twelve swimmers on the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's swimming and diving teams were selected to compete in the NCAA Championships as announced by the organization on Friday morning.
For the women's team, seniors Eliza Dixon and Claire Kozma, juniors Ava Ellis, Sheila Monera Cabarique, and Maggie Rose Rook, sophomores Anna Brown and Marina Oria, and first-year Sohalya Rawlins were named to the field. For the men's team, seniors Mason Bencurik, John Drumm, and William Froass and first-year Trevor Novak will make the trip to the national championships.
The 12 swimmers are tied for the most in program history, matching the record set during the 2001-02 and 2024-25 seasons.
Dixon and Kozma are both making their fourth consecutive appearances at the NCAA Championships. Drumm and Rook qualified for the national meet for the third time in their careers, Bencurik is making his second appearance in a row, and Brown, Ellis, Froass, Monera Cabarique, Novak, Oria, and Rawlins are making their debuts on the national stage.
The women's team is eligible to compete in the 100 Free (Kozma), 200 Fly (Kozma), 200 Free (Kozma), 200 Free Relay (Dixon, Kozma, Oria, Rawlins), 400 Free Relay (Dixon, Kozma, Monera Cabarique, Rawlins), and 800 Free Relay (Brown, Ellis, Kozma, Rook). The men's squad can compete in the 500 Free (Drumm), 200 Fly (Drumm), and 400 Free Relay (Bencurik, Drumm, Froass, Novak).
The 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled to be held at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IU Indianapolis in Indianapolis from March 18-21. The CWRU divers are competing at the NCAA Regional Diving Championships today and tomorrow for a chance to qualify for the national championship.
