Following her regional championship on Friday, senior diver Abigail Wilkov placed third in the 3-meter dive for the Case Western Reserve University diving teams on Saturday at the NCAA Diving Central Regional hosted by Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
Wilkov finished third on the higher board with a score of 467.05, just 18.50 points behind the regional champion (Nina Schwab from Carleton). Senior diver Jocelyn Schechter also competed for CWRU at the regional, placing 12th on the board with a score of 388.20.
The Spartan men's divers jumped from the 1-meter board on Saturday. Senior Nico Billoni placed 12th with a score of 384.90 and senior Alex Waltman finished 13th with a score of 379.25. Denison's Nick Fogle won the competition with a score of 475.80.
With her two top-three finishes at the regional, Wilkov has unofficially secured her spot at the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. Official diving selections will be released by the NCAA in the evening on Monday, March 3. She will join 12 CWRU swimmers at the national championships, which run from March 19-22 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
