Junior Abigail Wilkov earned a pair of fourth place finishes as the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's diving teams competed at the two-day NCAA Diving Zone Regional hosted by Denison University at the Trumbull Aquatics Center in Granville, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday night, Wilkov placed fourth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 410.10. She improved her score in the 3-meter dive to 444.65 but still placed fourth among the 29 competitors. With the top finishes, Wilkov will likely be one of the eight divers from the region selected to the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, with official selections to be announced on Monday.

Also competing at the regional were junior Jocelyn Schechter and seniors Rei Miyauchi and Elena Igic. Miyauchi placed 13th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 369.95 and 16th in the 3-meter dive with a score of 361.95. Schechter finished 14th in the 1-meter dive, trailing Miyauchi by 0.40 points. In the 3-meter dive, she placed eighth with 394.05 points. Igic finished her career with a 26th-place finish in the 1-meter dive (314.05) and 19th-place finish in the 3-meter dive (350.75).

Junior Alex Waltman competed for the CWRU men's diving team, placing 16th on the 3-meter board with a score of 351.95 and 17th on the 1-meter board with a score of 364.95.

Official diving selections to the national championship meet will be announced by the NCAA on Monday, March 4. Any divers will join the 10 CWRU swimmers who have already been announced as national championship participants.
