Case Western Reserve University junior Lauren Iagnemma and senior Aidan Nathan were selected as individuals to the field for the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships next weekend.

The meet will be held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday, November 23. The women's 6K race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. ET to be followed by the men's 8K race at noon.

Iagnemma will be aiming to follow up her standout performance at last year's NCAA Championship meet when she qualified for the first time as a sophomore and earned All-America honors with an 18th-place finish, the third-highest ever by a Spartan at the NCAA Championship. She became the sixth runner in program history to claim an All-America honor and it was the ninth All-America finish all-time in team history. Iagnemma earned her spot this year with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Region Championship on Saturday.

This will be Nathan's first time qualifying for NCAAs as an individual and his third time appearing in the meet overall after he qualified as a part of the team in both 2021 and 2022. Nathan placed 217th overall as a first-year runner in 2021 and was 262nd during his sophomore year in 2023. He earned his selection this season after placing seventh at Saturday's regional meet.

A total of 32 teams and 70 individuals were selected to compete from each gender for a total of 294 men and 294 women runners.

This will be the 21st straight year that the CWRU cross country program has been represented by at least one men's or women's runner at the National Championship meet.
