The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team's 400-yard freestyle relay placed 20th in the event on the final day of 2023 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Saturday.
The relay, consisting of sophomore swimmers Gabriella Chambers and Angeli Paull and first-year swimmers Eliza Dixon and Claire Kozma, completed the race in 3:29.66. Earlier this week, the quartet also finished 18th in the 200 Free Relay, 21st in the 800 Free Relay, and 30th in the 200 Medley Relay. Sophomore diver Abigail Wilkov earned two All-America honors during the championship, placing seventh in the one-meter dive and 10th in the three-meter dive.
Overall, the Spartans finished with 19 points, placing 26th. The finish is the best for the program since the team placed 23rd at the 2014 Championships and a five-spot improvement on its 31st place finish last season.
The end of the NCAA Championships concluded the 2022-23 season for the Case Western Reserve University swimming and diving teams.
