The Case Western Reserve University men's track and field team set three school records during the 2022 outdoor season, while also compiling two All-University Athletic Association honors at the 2022 UAA Championships and qualifying one individual for the 2022 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships.

With a school-record time of 14:14.74 in the 5,000-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic, junior mid-distance runner Joe Jaster qualified for the NCAA Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. In his first outdoor championship meet, he placed 19th in the event with a time of 15:03.92.

Jaster's school-record time earned him All-Great Lakes Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the 5,000-meter run. It was the third All-Region honor in his career. Senior mid-distance runner Logan Singer earned two All-Region honors, one for his time in the 800-meter run and one for his time in the 1,500-meter run, the fifth and sixth awards of his career. Singer set a school record in the 1,500-meter run, crossing the line at 3:48.64 at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Meet. In the 800-meter run, he recorded a time of 1:52.65 at the Bison Outdoor Classic.

Jaster and junior distance runner Jack Begley each earned All-UAA honors at the two-day 2022 UAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in St. Louis, Missouri. Jaster placed second in the 5,000-meter run in 14:47.14 for the second All-UAA honor of his career. Begley finished third in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:12.43, earning his third combined All-UAA honor of the 2021-22 indoor and outdoor seasons. Earlier in the season at the Bison Outdoor Classic, Begley broke a 44-year-old record in the event, finishing in 30:26.61. He also placed sixth in the UAA in the 5,000-meter run. Overall, the Spartans finished fifth in the conference standings with 64.5 points at the meet.

Other CWRU top performances at the UAA Championships included sophomore jumper Jack Wragan (fourth, pole vault), Singer (fifth, 1,500-meter run; eighth, 800-meter run), first-year distance runner Aidan Nathan (fifth, 10,000-meter run), sophomore sprinter/jumper Yusuf Shaaban (sixth, 400-meter hurdles; tied-seventh, high jump), senior thrower Ben Brisman (sixth, hammer throw), junior sprinter/jumper Keith Cartwright (sixth, javelin throw), junior mid-distance runner Liam O'Reilly (seventh, 3,000-meter steeplechase), first-year sprinter Nicolas Lende (seventh, 200-meter dash; seventh, 400-meter dash), junior hurdler Peculiar Nzegbuna (seventh, 110-meter hurdles), junior hurdler/jumper Pierce Boucher (eighth, 400-meter hurdles) sophomore sprinter Brett Callow (eighth, 100-meter dash), and first-year pole vaulter Quaylen Lamarre (eighth, pole vault).

In addition to their work on the track and in the field, 28 members of the Case Western Reserve men's outdoor track and field team received Spring UAA All-Academic recognition.
