Chuang Finishes 22nd on Day Three of NCAA Championships

Sophomore swimmer Ethan Chuang finished 22nd for the Case Western Reserve University swimming and diving team in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday on the third day of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.  

Chuang, seeded 27th in the event, finished with a time of 55.40 seconds. To qualify for the meet, he set a school record with a time of 54.74 seconds at the Midwest Invitational.

Chuang, junior swimmer Abby Halsdorfer and first-year diver Abigail Wilkov will represent CWRU on the final day of the NCAA Championships on Saturday. Chuang will compete in the 200-yard breaststroke, Halsdorfer will compete in the 1650-yard freestyle, and Wilkov will compete in the three-meter dive. Preliminary action starts at 10 a.m.
