The Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team wrapped up its 2022 fall campaign over the weekend at the Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational, hosted by the University of Toledo at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Toledo, Ohio.
Facing Division I competition from Toledo, Marquette, Duquesne, and IUPUI, along with a handful of matches against Division III Denison, the Spartans finished the weekend with a combined singles record of 14-10 (.583) and a doubles mark of 8-5 (.615).
Sophomore Ajay Mahenthiran led all CWRU players with three singles wins over the weekend, going 3-1 in singles matches. Three other Spartans went undefeated in singles play with junior Daniel French, sophomore Casey Hishinuma, and junior Yuvraj Narang each going 2-0.
Senior Chris Provenzano paced the Spartans with a 4-0 mark in doubles matches during the tournament and senior Michael Sutanto added a 3-1 record in doubles play. Junior Sahil Dayal went 2-0 in doubles matches, with senior Diego Maza contributing a 2-1 mark.
With the fall season now complete, the Spartans will turn their attention toward their spring season, which will begin in early February.
