Spartans in Action during Day 2 of NCAA Championships

Each of the four Case Western Reserve University swimmers competed during the second day of competition at the 2019 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina.

During the morning preliminaries, the women's 200-yard freestyle relay team of senior Suhan Mestha, senior Renee Decker, sophomore Caitlyn VonFeldt and freshman Daniella Rupert placed 18th with a time of 1:35.87.

Mestha, Decker, VonFeldt and Rupert also teamed together in the 400-yard medley relay, finishing 24th with a mark of 4:00.25.

Action at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships will continue with the third day of competition on Friday from the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Currently scheduled to compete for the Spartans during the day is Mestha (seeded 10th with a time of 56.17) in the 100-yard backstroke.
