MEADVILLE, Pa. – Senior Sean Nickley (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) was one of eight to win multiple events as the Case Western Reserve University men's swimming and diving team defeated Allegheny College by a 174-90 tally on Saturday afternoon at Mellon Pool.

The Spartans improve to 6-2 in dual meets this season.

Nickley headlined a dominate performance with two individual victories in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.32) and 100 butterfly (54.56) as well as being a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:38.22).

Joining Nickley on the relay team was senior Heath Hudgins (Chapel Hill, N.C./East Chapel Hill), junior Andrew Bollinger (Boulder, Colo./Fairview) and sophomore Aaron Tam (Doral, Fla./Ronald Reagan Doral Senior). Each won another event with Hudgins anchoring the 200 free relay to a first-place time of 1:29.12, Bollinger winning the 100 backstroke in 54.42, and Tam placing first in the 200 fly in 2:00.71.

Other multiple event winners were senior Scott McHenry (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) in the 100 freestyle (48.43) and aforementioned 200 free relay, senior Daniel Jacobson (Solon, Ohio/Solon)in the 1-meter (284.5) and 3-meter (317.3) dives, and freshman Andrew Henning (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) in the 200 free (1:48.84) and 500 free (4:58.49).

Senior Nick Clyde (Ann Arbor, Mich./Huron) in the 200 breastroke (2:16.9) and sophomore Drew Weibel (Longmont, Colo./Niwot) in the 200 backstroke (2:05.02) also won events.

Case is back in action next Saturday, January 25 when it travels to Ada, Ohio to take on Ohio Northern University at 1:00 p.m.
