The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's swimming and diving teams lost to Carnegie Mellon on Saturday at the CMU Pool in Pittsburgh.

The Spartans, whose men's team is ranked 20th nationally and women's team is ranked 25th, fell to 2-1 in dual meets. Both the seventh-ranked Tartan men's team and 12th-ranked Tartan women's team improved to 2-0 this season.
