Harms Adds Rawlings/ABCA All-America Honor to List of Postseason Accolades

Case Western Reserve University senior outfielder Nick Harms added another trophy to his award case for the 2025 season, as he was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/ Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America Third Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday night.

Harms, who was named to the D3baseball.com All-America First Team earlier in the week, becomes just the fifth CWRU baseball player in program history to be selected as a consensus All-American (named by both the ABCA and D3baseball.com), joining Jack Anderson (2023), Rocco Maue (2018), Andrew Gronski (2014), and Chad Mullins (2011). He is the first Spartan to be named an All-American by the ABCA since Anderson in 2023.

Harms, who was named the University Athletic Association Most Outstanding Player and received All-UAA honors for the fourth-straight year in 2025, finished the season hitting a team-high .401 with a .775 slugging percentage and a .498 on-base percentage. He connected for 14 home runs, the second-most in a season in program history while adding 14 doubles, six triples, 60 runs scored, 58 RBIs, and stole 17 bases on as many attempts. He was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on five occasions during the season and was selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week once. Harms was named the Most Valuable Player of the Cleveland Regional of the NCAA Division III Championship.

The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees. ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections, which were announced Tuesday, were eligible for All-America honors.

The 2025 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams for all divisions will be announced on Wednesday, June 18. The ABCA NCAA Division III Region All-Defensive teams will be announced on Thursday, June 19. ABCA/Rawlings National Pitchers and Position Players of the Year for all divisions will be announced on Monday, June 23.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.

The Spartans finished the 2025 season with a 30-14-1 overall record, reaching the NCAA Championship for the third consecutive year and the eighth time overall in program history. CWRU reached the Super Regionals for the first time and claimed the UAA Championship for the sixth time.
