The Case Western Reserve University was recognized with the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.

The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year's award recipients included nearly 500 college programs.

CWRU ended the 2025-26 academic year with a team cumulative GPA of 3.527. Eleven members of the team received UAA Spring All-Academic honors, while five were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, including junior Tyler Stillson, who went on to earn Academic All-America Second Team acclaim.

The American Baseball Coaches Association has a long tradition of recognizing the achievements of baseball coaches and student-athletes. The ABCA/Rawlings All-America Teams are the nation's oldest, founded in 1949, and the ABCA's awards program also includes the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Awards, the ABCA/ATEC Regional & National Coaches of the Year and several other major awards such as the ABCA Hall of Fame and the Dave Keilitz Ethics in Coaching Award.

The Spartans finished their 2026 season with a 20-19 overall record, marking the team's 17th-consecutive season with a .500 or better winning percentage. CWRU went 8-12 in UAA games, finishing fifth in the final league standings.
