Graduate Student (2025)


Capped off one of the best careers in program history by earning ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team and D3baseball.com All-Region Third Team honors… Marked the third-straight year he was selected as an all-region honoree… Named to the All-UAA First Team for the fourth-consecutive season… Named to the D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Second Team prior to the start of the year… Started all 45 games during the season, including 37 starts at catcher… Finished the year hitting .366 (67-183) with 57 runs, nine doubles, four triples, four home runs, 41 runs batted in, and 18 stolen bases on 19 attempts… Walked 35 times (third in program history and 48th among DIII players in 2025) to raise his on-base percentage to .480 while slugging .525 for a 1.005 OPS… Had a .986 fielding percentage and threw out 17 of 57 would-be base stealers… Also served as the Spartans’ closer, pitching in 10 games out of the bullpen and going 2-0 with a 3.48 ERA and four saves with 12 strikeouts in 10.1 innings… Recorded at least one hit in 40 of the team’s 45 games and reached base in all but two contests… Hit safely in the team’s first 17 games of the season and recorded at least one hit in 30-straight games from the end of 2024 to the start of 2025… Reached base in the team’s first 38 games of the campaign and in 51-straight contests dating back to 2024… Tied for the team lead with 23 multiple-hit games and recorded 10 games of two or more RBIs… Started all 20 games in UAA play and hit a team-best .418 (33-79) in UAA play with 30 runs, five doubles, a triple, a home run, 26 RBIs, and 10 stolen bases… Hit .417 with runners on base, .500 with the bases loaded, and .411 with runners in scoring position… Went three-for-five with a home run against Swarthmore on March 13… Turned in a four-for-four performance with four runs, four RBIs, a home run, and two walks against WashU on March 28… Drove in three runs and connected for a pair of doubles against the Bears the next day… Also had a four-RBI effort against NYU on April 18… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on April 28 after reaching base in 18 of his 22 plate appearances in a four-game series against Brandeis, batting .750 with a .818 on-base percentage and a .833 slugging percentage… Selected to the NCAA Cleveland Regional All-Tournament Team after batting six-for-13 with four runs and five RBIs over the tournament’s three games… Claimed Academic All-District honors… Earned UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended his career as the program’s all-time leader in hits (298), runs scored (220), doubles (70), triples (17), total bases (432), and walks (104)… Also ranked third all-time in batting average (.401), third in RBIs (155) and stolen bases (61), fifth in on-base percentage (.483) and saves (10), and eighth in slugging percentage (.581)… Ended his career ranked 12th all-time in Division III history with 298 career hits.

Graduate Student (2024)


Became the first two-time All-American in program history after earning a spot as the catcher on the D3baseball.com Third Team… Named the UAA Position Player of the Year for the second-straight season as well, becoming the first player in conference history to garner the award twice… Selected to the D3baseball.com All-Region First Team as a catcher and to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team as a position player… Earned All-UAA First Team honors… Named to the CSC Academic All-America First Team and selected to the Academic All-District Team… Started all 41 games for the Spartans during the year, mostly as the catcher (33 games)… Also saw time in center field and as the designated hitter… Recorded the 14th-highest batting average (.419), second-most runs scored (60), sixth-most walks (30), ninth-most hits (67), and 12th-highest on-base percentage (.512) in a season in program history… Finished the year with 18 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 36 RBIs, and 10 stolen bases on 11 attempts… Was 53rd among DIII players in average, 29th in doubles, 25th in runs, and seventh in runs per game (1.46)… Led all CWRU players with 22 multiple-hit games and added eight multiple-RBI efforts… Hit .441 (60-136) against right-handed pitchers, .433 (39-90) with runners on base, and .455 (5-11) with the bases loaded… Tallied a .991 fielding percentage (committing just three errors) and threw out nine base runners… Also served as the team’s closer, going 1-1 with a 1.08 ERA and six saves over eight appearances… Allowed just one run on seven hits for a .241 opponents’ batting average with 11 strikeouts and just two walks over 8.1 innings of work… His six saves were tied for the fourth-most in a season in program history and were the 19th-most in Division III in 2024… Ended the season on a 13-game hitting streak and had a season-long 15-game hitting streak to begin the year (29-straight games including 14 at the end of the 2023 campaign for the second-longest streak in program history)… Reached base safely in all but one game during the year and in as many as 27 straight games to begin the season (seeing his streak grow to 71 straight games having reached base between the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons)… Picked up the 200th hit of his career with a three-for-five showing against Brandeis on April 7… Named to the All-NCAA Cleveland Regional Tournament Team after batting .412 (7-17) with three runs, two doubles, and a triple… Scored the game-tying run in the top of the ninth after leading the inning off with a triple during the Spartans’ NCAA Tournament game against Lynchburg… Started all 16 UAA games, batting .426 (26-61) with 26 runs, eight doubles, a home run, 23 RBIs, 16 walks, three stolen bases on four attempts, and slugging .607 with a .519 on-base percentage… Also made two appearances on the mound in UAA games, recording a pair of saves and not allowing a run on one hit with four strikeouts and no walks over 2.2 innings… Named the UAA Hitter of the Week on March 18 after batting .464 (13-28) with 11 runs, five doubles, two home runs, a .857 slugging percentage, a .516 on-base percentage, and seven RBIs over six games during the Spartans’ spring break trip…  Earned UAA Hitter of the Week honors a second time on April 29 after batting .588 (10-17) with a .706 slugging percentage and a .524 on-base percentage while totaling six runs, two doubles, and 11 RBIs over the four games against WashU... Had a walk-off two-RBI single to cap off an eight-run ninth inning in the series finale as part of a three-for-five effort with two runs and a season-high five RBIs… Went three-for-five with three runs, an RBI,  a double, and a home run against Swarthmore on March 11… Picked up four hits in six at bats with four runs, two RBIs, a double, and a home run against Oswego State on March 15… Received UAA Spring All-Academic honors… Ended the season as the program’s all-time leader in career batting average (.413) and triples (13), tied for the lead in doubles (61), second in runs scored (163), fourth in hits (231), fifth in on-base percentage (.484), sixth in slugging percentage (.600), seventh in stolen bases (43) and RBIs (114), eighth in saves (6), 13th in walks (69), and 18th in games played (139).

Senior (2023)


Became the fourth consensus All-American in program history after being named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Second Team and the D3baseball.com All-America Third Team… Received ABCA and D3baseball.com All-Region First Team honors… Was the second Spartan in program history to be named the UAA Position Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-UAA First Team for the second-straight year… Started all 43 of the team’s games, including 39 at catcher, three at shortstop, and one at third base… Batted leadoff in 41 of the 43 contests and registered a .645 on-base percentage when leading off an inning… Set school records with 89 hits and 25 doubles, both of which ranked second among all Division III players during the year… Finished the season leading all CWRU players with a .468 average (11th in DIII), 56 runs, five triples, three home runs, 45 RBIs, 15 stolen bases, a .700 slugging percentage, and a .523 on-base percentage… Hit .529 against left-handed pitching during the year… Recorded a career-long 23 game hitting streak between March 1 and April 14… Ended the season on a 14-game hitting streak and hit safely in all but four games… Reached base safely in all 43 games and has a 44-game streak reaching base dating back to the 2022 season… Led the team with 28 multiple hit games and 12 multiple-RBI games… Had a .979 fielding percentage and threw out 33% of base runners attempting to steal… Named to the Marietta Regional All-Tournament Team after batting .615 (eight-for-13) with a .923 slugging percentage and a .688 on base percentage to go along with four runs, one double, a home run, three runs batted in, and three walks, while also playing perfect defense behind the plate and throwing out a pair of base runners on five attempts… Also earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors following the effort… Matched a program record for runs and hits in a game, going six-for-seven with five runs, two RBIs, two doubles, and a triple against Wooster on April 6… Received UAA Athlete of the Week and D3baseball.com Team of the Week honors after going nine-for-15 with five runs scored, three RBIs, three doubles, a triple, a home run, and a stolen base in four total games against Marietta and Washington & Jefferson in early March… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week again on March 20 after batting .462 (12-of-26) with a .769 slugging percentage and a .481 on-base percentage and totaling eight doubles, four runs, eight runs batted in, one walk, and two stolen bases on three attempts in games against Cortland, Adrian, and Baldwin Wallace… Matched a school single-game record with three doubles in one of the games against Cortland… Received D3baseball.com Team of the Week honors again on April 26 after batting .629 (12-19) in a four-game sweep of Brandeis, finishing the series with a .895 slugging percentage and a .667 on base percentage, while scoring eight runs and driving in five with three doubles and a triple, and stealing two bases on a pair of attempts… Had a season-high five RBI against DePauw on May 7… As of the end of his senior season, he has the highest career batting average in program history (.410), while ranking fifth in on base percentage (.471), sixth in stolen base percentage (.892), seventh in slugging percentage (.590), 12th in runs scored (103), 13th in hits (164), fourth in doubles (43), second in triples (10), 13th in stolen bases (33), and 20th in fielding percentage (.981)… Selected to the CSC Academic All-America Second Team and named to the CSC Academic All-District Team… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition.

Junior (2022)


Named to the All-UAA First Team… Started 37 of the 38 games he played during the 2022 season, including 35 starts at catcher… Was second on the team with a .335 batting average during the year and led the team with 35 runs and 15 stolen bases on 17 attempts… Finished the year with 11 doubles and three triples… Drove in 18 runs… Slugged .443 with a .410 on base percentage… Drew 18 walks during the campaign… Threw out 18 runners on 69 stolen base attempts, and registered a .986 fielding percentage… Batted .338 with 14 runs, six doubles, three triples, 10 RBIs, 10 walks, and five stolen bases on six attempts during UAA games… Hit .379 with runners on base and .366 with runners in scoring position… Was second on the team with 16 multiple-hit games, while also totaling three multiple-RBI efforts… Recorded a 10-game hitting streak between April 3 and April 16, the longest during the season by a CWRU player… Went four-for-six with a double, two runs, a stolen base, and an RBI against Denison on March 19… Added a four-for-five day with two runs, two RBI, a double, a triple, and a stolen base against Brandeis on April 2… Received UAA Spring All-Academic Honors.

Sophomore (2021)


Had a breakout season for the Spartans as a sophomore, making 12 starts and appearing in 13 games total… All 12 of his starts came at catcher… Finished the season batting .444 (20-for-45) with 11 runs scored, seven doubles, two triples, and 14 RBIs… Slugged .689 with a .479 on base percentage… Stole three bases on as many tries… Hit .571 (four-of-seven) against lefties, .500 (13-of-26) with runners on base and .600 (three-for-five) with the bases loaded… Was also a .556 hitter (10-for-18) with runners in scoring position… Totaled six multiple-hit games and three multiple RBI efforts… Also made his debut on the mound, pitching a scoreless third of an inning against Franciscan… Went three-for-five with a double, two RBIs, and a stolen base against Wittenberg in his season debut on March 27… Followed that with a three-for-four showing with two triples the next day against Ohio Wesleyan… Was named the UAA Athlete of the Week following the two performances… Went three-for-five with two doubles and six RBIs against Oberlin on April 10… Ended the season on a nine-game hitting streak… Received UAA Spring All-Academic recognition.

First-Year (2020)


Appeared in four games during his first season of collegiate baseball, making one start at catcher… Finished the campaign with a .286 batting average (two-for-seven) with a run scored and an RBI… Was two-for-two off the bench during the Spartans’ win over Alfred State on March 11, scoring a run and driving in a run.
