Case Western Reserve University senior Ceci Dapino continued to receive postseason accolades on Wednesday, earning Scholar All-Region First Team honors from the United Soccer Coaches for the Division III North/Central Region.
Dapino received Scholar All-Region honors for the first time in her career. She is now eligible to become just the fourth student-athlete in program history to be named a Scholar All-American with the United Soccer Coaches announcing those teams later this month.
An All-America Third Team, All-Region First Team, and All-University Athletic Association First Team selection this season, Dapino tied for the team lead with 27 points in 20 games, scoring 11 times and recording five assists. She started every contest for the Spartans, who ended the season ranked 11th in Division III. In conference play, the senior led the squad with eight points, scoring four goals in seven contests. She scored twice in a 3-1 win over Rochester and added goals in ties with Chicago and Carnegie Mellon. Dapino finished her career with 20 goals and 14 assists in 75 games (67 starts) across four seasons.
A biology and statistics double major with a 3.97 cumulative grade point average, Dapino earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the second time this season and is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree. She is also a two-time inductee in the CWRU Van Horn Society, which honors juniors and seniors with at least a 3.80 cumulative GPA.
Case Western Reserve reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season in 2025, finishing the year with an overall record of 14-2-4.
