Five members of the Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team were honored by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association for their achievements both on the field and in the classroom during the 2025 season.
Senior Ceci Dapino and Jamie Goldfarb were named to the Division III All-Ohio First Team and Academic All-Ohio First Team, senior Alexis Sassower received All-Ohio Second Team and Academic All-Ohio Second Team honors, and senior Maggie Farra and sophomore Ellie Palaian earned All-Ohio First Team selections.
It is the first career OCSA honors for Palaian and Farra. Dapino and Sassower were named to the All-Ohio Third Team last season, and Goldfarb has been named to the Academic All-Ohio First Team (2024), All-Ohio Second Team (2023), and All-Ohio Third Team (2024).
Dapino capped a standout senior season with United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team, Scholar All-America Third Team, All-Region VII First Team, All-University Athletic Association First Team, and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. She tied for the team lead with 27 points, scoring 11 goals, including four game-winning goals, and adding five assists. Dapino recorded multiple goals in a pair of games and registered a goal and an assist in three separate contests. Across four seasons, she totaled 54 points on 20 goals and 14 assists in 75 games. A biology and statistics double major, Dapino is a two-time member of the CWRU Van Horn Society with a 3.974 cumulative grade point average.
Goldfarb received her first career All-America honors following the season after her selection to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Fourth Team. She was also a member of the All-Region VII First Team, All-UAA First Team, and CSC Academic All-District Team. Goldfarb ended the season with eight goals and two assists for 18 points, scoring a hat trick on August 29 against Franciscan. She played every minute in six of her 18 appearances on the field. Across 71 career games, Goldfarb netted 16 goals with six assists. A two-time member of the CWRU Van Horn Society, she has a 3.974 GPA as a business management and economics double major.
Sassower was named to the All-Region VII Fourth Team for the second consecutive season while also receiving All-UAA Second Team and CSC Academic All-District Team honors. She tied for the team lead with eight assists, finishing the season with 20 points on six goals and the eight helpers. Sassower had two assists on September 3 and recorded a goal and an assist in two different games. In 58 career games, she had 15 goals and 15 assists for 45 points. A neuroscience major with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, Sassower is a two-time inductee into the CWRU Van Horn Society.
Farra was named to the All-Region VII Second Team after tying for the team lead with 27 points. She netted a team-high 12 goals and added three assists in 20 games. Twice during the season, Farra had a hat trick, becoming the first player in program history to record multiple three-goal games. She added an assist during her hat trick against John Carroll to match the program record with seven points in a single game. Across 74 career games, Farra had 48 points on 20 goals and eight assists.
Palaian was named to the All-Region VII Third Team and All-UAA Second Team following her breakout sophomore season during which she played every minute in goal for CWRU. Palaian set the single-season program record with 12 shutouts, allowing just 10 goals in 20 contests. She saved 46 shots and finished with a goals against average of 0.49. Palaian had a nation-leading nine shutouts in September and earned Division III Player of the Month honors for her efforts.
Case Western Reserve reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season in 2025, finishing the year with an overall record of 14-2-4.
