CWRU Women’s Soccer Receives 2025 United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year Honors

The coaching staff of the Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team was named the Division III Region VII Staff of the Year, the United Soccer Coaches Announced on Thursday.

Led by Head Coach Alyssa Johnson, full-time Assistant Coach Ross Minick, goalkeepers coach Scott Lindsay, and student coaches Mikaela RamosPia Sachdev, and Emi Kenney, the Spartans qualified for the postseason for the sixth consecutive season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in a row.

The Spartans finished the season with a record of 14-2-4 with their two losses coming to the eventual national finalists. The team tied for third in the University Athletic Association with a mark of 3-2-2 and finished 11th in the final United Soccer Coaches national top 25 poll.

This is the third time CWRU has received women's soccer regional coaching staff of the year honors, following the 2021 and 2022 campaigns. It is the first honor in the careers of Johnson and Minick.

The Regional Staff of the Year recipients will be placed on the United Soccer Coaches ballot for National Staff of the Year which will be announced on Friday, December 19.
