HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Led by a 3-0 performance by sophomore Christopher Krimbill (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain), the No. 8 nationally ranked Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team split matches against Division I George Mason University (Va.) and fellow DIII Ohio Wesleyan University on the second day of spring trip action. 

The Spartans (6-3) fell to George Mason in the morning session, 5-2, before defeating Ohio Wesleyan, 8-1. 

Against George Mason, Krimbill earned the lone Spartan singles victory as he defeated Jimmy Davis 7-5, 6-4. Along with senior tri-captain Eric Klawitter (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey), Krimbill earned a doubles victory against James Lange and Joe Hill, 8-4.

The two would partner again against OWU to earn an 8-2 win over Rich Karban and Aadil Kohari.

Junior Will Drougas (Roanoke, Va./Salem) and senior John Healey (Columbia, Md./Atholton) partnered to beat Taylor Sargent and Tanner Baine of George Mason, 8-5. 

CWRU swept doubles against Ohio Wesleyan before taking singles matches two through six. 

The Spartans' trip continues tomorrow, March 11, with matches against Penn State Erie, The Behrend College and Wittenberg University. Play is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
