Appeared in 61 sets across 22 matches during her junior year at CWRU, making two starts...finished fifth on the team with 96 kills (1.57 per set) with a .120 hitting percentage (96-49-392)...added 52 digs and five blocks...put down career-best 10 kills against Earlham on September 6...recorded career-best seven digs in five-set win over Brandeis on September 27...earned UAA All-Academic honors.

2024

Appeared in eight sets across six matches as a sophomore for the Spartans...finished season with 11 kills and .320 hitting percentage (11-3-25)...added service ace and four digs...recorded career-high six kills against Westminster (Pa.) on November 2...had first career service ace against Chatham on August 30...dug out career-high two attacks on September 13 against Albion...received UAA All-Academic recognition.

2023

Appeared in one set in one match during her first year at CWRU...recorded one kill on November 4 in 3-1 win over Wooster.

Prior to CWRU

Was a four-year member of the Pine-Richland High School volleyball team, serving as captain her junior and senior years...Coached by Angela Seman...Helped team win WPIAL championship in 2022...Named to All-State First Team, All-Section First Team, and WPIAL First Team as a senior...Earned WPIAL honorable mention and All-Section Third Team honors as a junior...Earned Honor Roll honors all four years of high school...Named Trib Total Media Outstanding Young Citizen in 2023...Received Presidential Service Gold Award in 2022 and Bronze Award in 2023...Also played for Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Association, where she was coached by Ashley Green and Dee Andreyko...Earned AAU Volleyball Academic All-American honors in 2021 and 2022...Won 2022 JVA Athleader Award.

Personal

Born October 4...Daughter of Tara and Matt Yanni...Her father, Matt, played soccer at Allegheny College from 1992-96, where he ranks third in career assists and was a two-time All-NCAC honoree.
