Biography

2015: Named to the All-University Athletic Association Second Team following the season, marking the third-straight year she has earned all-conference honors… Finished her career eighth in school history with 1,495 career digs, the 78th-best mark among active NCAA Division III players… Played in all 33 matches during the year and appeared in each of the 114 sets... Led the team with 561 digs during the year and 4.92 digs per set… Added 31 assists and 22 service aces… Had double-figure dig totals in 29 of the team’s 33 matches, including nine matches of at least 20 digs… Tallied a season-high 32 digs against Bethany on October 31st… Had a 30-dig effort against Hiram on October 13th.

2014: Played in all 30 matches and in 102 sets...recorded 165 kills for the season...tallied 24 assists...finished first on the team with 32 service aces...recorded a team-best 354 digs...tallied 26 total blocks...earned All-UAA honorable mention

2013: Played in all 33 matches and a team-high 116-of-118 sets as a sophomore captain…named to All-UAA Second Team at libero…posted team bests of 538 digs and 24 service aces…ranked third in the UAA at 4.64 digs per set…recorded a career-high 29 digs versus Baldwin Wallace on September 29…registered three service aces in three separate matches. 

2012: Played in 12 matches and a total of 16 sets as a freshman…recorded 42 digs for the season with a high of eight at Oberlin on October 24.

Personal: Earned three varsity letters at North Allegheny Senior High School…named 2012 NAHS Senior Athlete of the Year…selected as 2011 All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League...also tabbed as first-team all-section and to All-Pennsylvania squad…named second-team all-section in 2010…graduated as a four-time NAHS Scholar-Athlete with a 4.0 grade point average or better while in season…member of the Gifted Education Program and National Honor Society…also a U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete…daughter of Kurt and Ann Best.
