Kim Waters joined the Case Western Reserve University volleyball coaching staff prior to the start of the 2013 season and was promoted to full-time assistant coach prior to the 2023 season.

During her 10 seasons with the team, she has helped guide the squad to a 165-109 record, including a 25-8 mark with an NCAA Tournament berth during the 2015 campaign.

Waters (née Sage) played collegiately at Hiram College, where she was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2007, while also earning a spot on the All-NCAC Second Team.

Waters graduated from Hiram in 2011 with a degree in Biology.
