The second-ranked Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team played 90 minutes of scoreless action against John Carroll University on Wednesday night at DiSanto Field in Cleveland.

The tie moved the Spartans to 7-0-1 this season, while the Blue Streaks moved to 3-3-2 in 2026.

• Sophomore Carter Shedd saved a pair of shots to record his second consecutive shutout
• Seniors Cormac Apostolides and Cameron Thayer and sophomore Alex Eby all played 90 minutes in the back for CWRU

• CWRU pressured again the start the second period, resulting in a shot by senior Ohta Kamiya that missed high
• Shedd recorded his first save on a header in the 52nd minute
• Junior Owen Guffey nearly broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, hitting the top post with a shot
• The rebound was collected by Fein, whose shot was saved by the JCU goalkeeper
• Shedd saved another shot in the 76th minute, the last attempt on goal by either team
• The visitors nearly scored just three minutes later, but they were called for offside
• Jah had a shot blocked in the 82nd minute, but the team's resulting corner kick did not lead to a shot
• His last-second attempt sailed above the goal, sealing the scoreless tie
