The Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team welcomed back several classes of graduates for its annual Alumni Weekend at the Carlton Courts last weekend.

"It is always a pleasure to welcome back the members of the CWRU men's tennis family that helped build the program into a consistent contender for National Championships," said Head Coach Todd Wojtkowski. "They are the foundation of a culture of achievement within the program, and our Alumni Weekend allows us not only to celebrate our past successes, but also to reinforce the culture that has been pivotal to those successes with the current team members."

Over 30 alumni were in attendance for the event and were joined by the current team, which is preparing to compete in its fall campaign.

The Alumni Weekend also marked the debut of the resurfaced Carlton Courts, work on which was completed over the summer. The project helped to restore the playing surface on the courts, which have hosted the first three rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship each of the last five seasons.

"Being able to host Alumni Weekend on the newly refinished courts was a bonus this year," said Wojtkowski.

CWRU reached the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Championship in 2026, marking the sixth straight season the team has placed among the top-eight teams in the country. The Spartans are slated to start their 2026 fall season at the Denison Invitational in Granville, Ohio, on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20.
