Arterburn & Stillson Receive All-UAA Honors

Case Western Reserve University juniors Nate Arterburn and Tyler Stillson were each named to the All-University Athletic Association Second Team for the 2026 campaign, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

This was the second-straight season that Stillson has received All-UAA Second Team honors, while Arterburn received all-conference honors for the first time during his career.

Arterburn started all 39 games at shortstop for the Spartans during the 2026 campaign, batting a career-high .307 (42-137) with a .365 slugging percentage and a .385 on-base percentage for a .750 OPS. He scored a team-high 29 runs, while collecting eight doubles, 12 runs batted in, and 14 stolen bases on 16 attempts. He committed just 10 errors during the year at shortstop, good for a .946 fielding percentage. Arterburn batted .307 (23-75) with three doubles, 18 runs, six RBIs, and nine stolen bases in 10 attempts during conference games.

Stillson was a factor both on the mound and at the plate for the Spartans during his junior campaign, seeing time as a starting pitcher, and playing first base, left field, and serving as the designated hitter for CWRU. He started each of the team's games and finished the season leading all qualifying players on the team with a .315 (47-149) batting average, a .456 slugging percentage, and a .406 on-base percentage for a .862 OPS. He added 26 runs, nine doubles, three triples, two home runs, and 24 RBIs, while stealing four bases on five attempts. Stillson also started 11 games on the mound, going 4-4 with a 5.31 ERA and striking out 76 batters in 62.2 innings, the fourth-most in a campaign in the program's history. He was a .296 (21-71) hitter in UAA play with two doubles, two triples, and nine RBIs.

The Spartans finished their 2026 season with a 20-19 overall record, marking the team's 17th-consecutive season with a .500 or better winning percentage. CWRU went 8-12 in UAA games, finishing fifth in the final league standings.
