The Case Western Reserve University softball team lost 10-0 in five innings to top-ranked Virginia Wesleyan University in the first game of the best-of-three Super Regional Round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Thursday afternoon at Broyles Field in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Spartans fell to 30-13 with the loss, while the Marlins improved to 49-0.
