The Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team wrapped up its 2026 regular season with a 7-0 win over Allegheny College at the Robertson Tennis Center in Meadville, Pennsylvania, on Friday afternoon.

The Spartans will head into next weekend's University Athletic Association Championship with a 10-5 overall record following Friday's victory. The Gators, ranked 68th in Division III, dropped to 16-6 overall with the setback.

Stats and Standouts

• Graduate student Hannah Kassaie clinched the doubles point in the first match with senior Katalina Wang and had the match-clinching victory at no. 1 singles.

• Adding doubles wins were first-years Gabby Lee and Emma Thoms in the second match, and sophomore Yasemin Bilgin and first-year Trisha Vellanki at no. 3 doubles.

• Junior Kareena Sivanesan extended CWRU's lead to 2-0 with a flawless win at no. 6 singles, and junior Prachi Shah put the Spartans a victory away from clinching with a fourth-singles victory.

• Adding singles victories after the match was clinched by Kassaie were first-year Atra Biria (no. 2 singles), senior Ellior Rose (no. 3 singles), and sophomore Maya Brink (no. 5 singles).
