In a match that lasted over five hours, the 18th-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought battle to 11th-ranked Trinity University 5-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Rashid Hassan Tennis Center in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

The Spartans dropped to 5-2 this season, while the Tigers improved to 3-1.

• Kassaie and Wang took down the eight-ranked doubles pair in Division III in Levy and Andrade
• The Spartans fell to 1-3 all-time vs. Trinity with the only win coming back in 2018
• Kassaie also defeated the 48th-ranked singles player in Division III, and Wang bested the 28th-ranked singles player nationally
