The 11th-ranked Case Western Reserve University baseball team ended play at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational in Washington, Pennsylvania, with a 5-1 loss to the Presidents on Sunday afternoon.
The loss dropped the Spartans to 4-2 on the season, while the Presidents improved to 3-1.

Sophomore left-handed pitcher Charlie Griffith suffered the loss, despite allowing just two runs on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts over two and two-thirds innings.

Sophomore southpaw Jeff Radinsky pitched two and a third scoreless innings in relief, striking out two and allowing just one hit.
