The 18th-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team fell to 19th-ranked Washington & Lee 5-2 on the first day of the Groundhog Palooza on Saturday evening at Duchossois Tennis Center in Lexington, Virginia.
The Spartans suffered their first loss this season, falling to 3-1, while the Generals improved to 5-0.
