Last Week's Recap
Women's Soccer (2-0-0, 1-0-0 UAA)
- Won a both their games last week, concluding the non-conference slate with a victory before taking the first game of the conference schedule
- Defeated Heidelberg 1-0 on a goal by senior Kat Tsarouhas in the final 10 minutes of play on Tuesday night
- Won 2-1 over Rochester on Saturday night with both goals scored by the UAA Player of the Week for Offense, sophomore Izzy Probst
Football (1-0, 1-0 PAC)
- Overcame a 15-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Westminster 36-29 last Saturday afternoon on the road
- Senior quarterback Sam DeTillio rushed for three touchdowns in final frame, including one with 63 seconds left in regulation, to spark the comeback
- Sophomore defensive end Dominic Ghilani was selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after recovering a pair of fumbles and forcing a third, while finishing the game with four tackles (all solo), including one sack, and a pass breakup
#4 Men's Soccer (0-0-1, 0-0-1 UAA last week)
- Played Rochester to a scoreless tie last Saturday evening in Rochester, New York
- The shutout was the fourth in a row for the Spartans and their seventh in the last eight games
- Sophomore goalkeeper Carter Shedd saved a pair of shots in the draw
Volleyball (1-1)
- Split a pair of five-set matches in Granville, Ohio, last Saturday
- Earned a victory over Ohio Wesleyan to start the day before falling to Denison to conclude the trip
- First-year Maya Zarow had 20 kills in the loss, the most by a Spartan in a single match this season
Men's Tennis
- Junior Rowan Matorin won the singles championship at the ITA Fall Central Regional Championship in Brownsburg, Indiana, to secure his spot at the ITA Cup later in the month
- Matorin, seeded ninth in the draw, won all six of his matches across the three-day tournament
- In the doubles bracket, juniors Jon Totorica and Rohit Jain reached the semifinals
Women's Tennis
- Competed at the second CMU Invite on Saturday in Pittsburgh
- Won four doubles matches against Carnegie Mellon and Slippery Rock
