Sophomore (2025-26)

Had a breakout sophomore season for the Spartans, earning all-UAA honorable mentions for his play at no. 5 singles and at no. 2 doubles (with Santiago Salazar Garza)… Ended the year ranked 74^th among Division III singles players… Recorded a 21-5 ledger, including a 7-1 mark at no. 5 singles, and added a 12-8 doubles record… Was 16-1 in singles play and 6-5 in doubles contests in dual matches… Clinched the doubles point on three occasions and had three match-clinching singles wins… Won his final six singles matches of the year, going 1-0 at the UAA Championship and winning all four of his NCAA Tournament singles matches… Went 2-1 in doubles play at the UAA Championship and 2-2 during NCAA Tournament play… Named the UAA Athlete of the Week on March 16 after going 4-0 in singles play the previous week… Holds a 38-8 singles record and a 15-13 doubles mark for his career through his first two seasons.

First-year (2024-25)

Finished his first year of competition for the Spartans with a 17-3 singles record and a 3-5 doubles ledger… Led all CWRU in singles winning percentage with his .850 mark, tied for the 11^th-best in a season in program history… Did not lose a match in the spring, going 10-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles competition during dual contests… Won his singles draw at the Youngstown State Invitational in September.

Prior to CWRU

Played for Xavier Academy for one season… Helped the team finish third in the state in 2022… Won state singles championship and was named his school’s Athlete of the Year as a sophomore… Went undefeated at no. 1 singles in his one year on the team… Coached by Sunday Jegede and Red Benzon.
