The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team was ranked 11th in the preseason edition of the United Soccer Coaches/IWSOC Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans are coming off a 2025 campaign in which they went 14-2-4 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season. Case Western Reserve's two losses last year were to the eventual national champion, WashU, and national runner-up, Emory.

Six of the team's 17 scheduled opponents for the 2026 season are ranked in the preseason edition of the poll. CWRU will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, on September 19 to face 17th-ranked Calvin. The following month, the Spartans will face 19th-ranked Rochester, top-ranked WashU, and second-ranked Emory on the road with a home matchup against third-ranked Chicago on October 17. The squad ends the regular season with a game against 21st-ranked Carnegie Mellon on November 7 at DiSanto Field.

Six of the eight teams in the University Athletic Association, including CWRU, are ranked heading into the 2026 season after seven UAA programs qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row.

CWRU will begin the campaign on Tuesday, September 1 with a visit from crosstown rival John Carroll. Action begins at DiSanto Field at 5 p.m.
