The Case Western Reserve University women's basketball team was recognized on Tuesday as a special mention to the 2024-25 Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Honor Roll.
The Spartans finished the season with a combined 3.667 grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year, the 39th-highest mark among Division III honorees and the second-highest among University Athletic Association programs.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs, inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls. Teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration for the top 25 in their respective divisions are listed as special mentions.
CWRU finished the 2024-25 season with a 7-18 overall record, including a 2-12 mark in UAA contests. The Spartans are slated to open their 2025-26 campaign on November 7 at the MSOE Tournament in Milwaukee.
