Twenty-four members of the Case Western Reserve University football team were named to the 2025 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society based on their academic and athletic achievements over their careers.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes football players in their final year of eligibility with at least a 3.2 cumulative undergraduate grade point average who were starters or contributors during the 2024 season. A record 2,514 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in 2025, marking the largest class in the program's 19-year history. Since its inception, the initiative has honored 20,928 student-athletes.
CWRU players recognized included linebacker Ryan Cabrera, defensive back Nate Cikalo, tight end Evan Colburn, wide receiver Noah Coyne, wide receiver Ethan Dahlem, defensive lineman AJ Dudowski, running back Gage Duesler, linebacker Braden Frank, quarterback Alex Fromberg, running back Sean-Michael James, offensive lineman Peter Kelly, offensive lineman Jared Kinsherf, defensive lineman Joe Mele, defensive lineman Jace Merritt, offensive lineman Cole Mullenix, punter Joseph Rhodes V, linebacker Brody Roth, defensive back Dominic Sais, linebacker Ryan Santoro, defensive back Michael Stuewe, offensive lineman Tony Thivener, defensive lineman Kaden Tong, linebacker Sean Torres, and linebacker Gabe Troch.
The Spartans finished the 2024 season with a 6-4 overall record, good for fifth place in the final PAC standings. It was the ninth consecutive winning season for CWRU.
