In advance of the 2025 NFL Draft in late April, Case Western Reserve University senior wide receiver Noah Coyne participated in the Kent State Pro Day on Wednesday, March 19.
The Kent State Pro Day was the latest event that Coyne has participated in as he continues to draw attention from NFL scouts following a standout career at CWRU. Coyne ended his career as one of the top receivers in program history, amassing 152 catches for 2,465 yards and 29 touchdowns during his four years, including 58 catches for 765 yards and 11 scores this past season. He is a two-time All-PAC honoree, including a second-team selection this past year, and was a D3football.com All-Region Third-Team selection as a junior.
"With his performance on the field over his four-year career at CWRU and the boxes he checks as far as height, weight, and speed, Noah certainly deserves the attention he is receiving from NFL scouts," said CWRU Head Coach Greg Debeljak. "I believe the best years of Noah's career are ahead of him because he came into college only playing one year of high school football."
Coyne took part in several drills designed to showcase his athletic ability during the Pro Day, including the vertical jump, 40-yard dash, and bench press.
Wednesday's event was just the latest step in Coyne's journey to reach the NFL. Last September, he was recognized by Emory Hunt of CBS Sports as a standout in small-college football. Hunt recognized him as a prospect again after he participated in the 2025 College Gridiron Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas in January, where he was one of 217 prospects in attendance along with representatives from all 32 NFL teams, nine CFL teams, and eight UFL teams, as well as teams from both the European League of Football and Arena/Indoor football leagues. Coyne also took part in an interview with NFL Draft Diamonds last summer.
"Being able to have the opportunity to be invited to a post season bowl game and a pro day has been super rewarding," said Coyne. "I love competing, so being able to go down to Fort Worth and compete against Division I guys who will be late-round draft picks or high-priority free agents in the NFL was exciting and allowed me to show I can compete with the best of the best in college football. I am thankful for Coach Debeljak and the rest of our coaching staff for putting me in a position to succeed and giving me all the resources to give myself the best shot come April."
Coyne, a finance major at CWRU, is scheduled to graduate in May.
