Four members of the Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team were recognized by the University Athletic Association for their performances this season, the association announced on Tuesday.
Seniors Phillip Washington and Bradley Winter were named to the All-UAA First Team and senior Camden Larson and first-year Alex Eby received honorable mention.
Washington, who is receiving his first career All-UAA honor, played all but five minutes on the Spartan backline in the team's seven league games. He was a major part of the Case Western Reserve defense that allowed just five goals (0.71) in league play, including two shutouts. The Spartans allowed just 4.3 shots on goal in conference contests. Overall, Washington missed just 23 minutes of action in 17 games for a CWRU defense that allowed only eight goals, adding his second career assist in a win over Oberlin on September 10.
Winter played every minute in front of the net for the Spartans in 2025, setting a program record with 10 shutouts in 17 games. In conference play, he allowed five goals (0.71 GAA) and saved 25 shots for a .833 save percentage. Winter recorded back-to-back road shutouts of Brandeis on October 24 and NYU on October 26. In his final collegiate season, Winter conceded eight goals in 17 games (0.47 GAA) and finished his career with a program record 22 shutouts. He was named to the All-UAA Second Team last season and was an honorable mention in 2023.
Larson, a central midfielder, barely left the field for CWRU, playing 588 of a possible 630 minutes (93%) in league play. He finished second on the team in shots (11) and shots on goal (four) during the team's seven conference contests. He started every game for the Spartans this season, scoring once and adding an assist. This is his first career All-UAA honor.
In his first collegiate season, Eby logged 1,515 minutes for the Spartans on the backline, playing mostly outside back. He missed just four minutes of action in league play, helping the team allow just five goals in seven games. Overall, Eby helped the squad shut out 10 teams and limit opposing offenses to just 0.47 shots and 2.9 shots on goal per game.
CWRU finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 7-5-5 and a mark of 1-4-2 in league play. The Spartans have not had a losing season since 2021.
