Case Western Reserve University first-year Karen Potts will appear on episode four of the 16th season of American Ninja Warrior, which is set to air on Monday, July 8.

The fourth episode of the season, titled "Qualifiers 7", will witness ninjas from all corners of the country face off against the formidable obstacle course that has become synonymous with challenge and determination. The episode will air on NBC at 8 p.m. on Monday and will be available the following day in its entirety on the streaming service Peacock.

Portions of the episode, which will feature Potts, were filmed on the CWRU campus. The rising sophomore from North Potomac, Maryland, had a successful first season as a member of the Spartan softball team, earning University Athletic Association Rookie of the Year honors while being named to the All-UAA First Team. Potts had a .419 batting average, tying for the team lead with 67 hits, and started every game for the team at shortstop. She hit eight home runs and stole 26 bases.

Potts previously appeared on season 14 of American Ninja Warrior, reaching the first stage of the final round in Las Vegas. The season aired during the summer of 2022.
