Twelve members of the Case Western Reserve University softball team were recognized as 2025-26 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-Americans based on their performance in the classroom during the previous academic year, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Student-athletes needed to earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher during the academic year to qualify for the honor. The 12 members of the team honored by the NFCA were seniors Elizabeth Berry, Tara Fritscher, and Devanghi Misra, juniors Nylah Durham, Karen Potts, and Kaelyn Zusi, sophomores Kate Coonan, Laura Meoli, Ashley Miller, and Riley Williams, first-years Sophia Becker and Sierra Ejercito. In Division III, 2,491 student-athletes were named All-America Scholar-Athletes.
The CWRU softball team finished the 2026 season with a record of 30-14, advancing to the Super Regional Round of the NCAA Championship for the third time in the last five seasons. The Spartans have won 100 games over the last three seasons and 201 since the start of the 2020 campaign, reaching the postseason in each of the last five years.
