Due to potential inclement weather in the Columbus, Georgia, area, and changes in team participation, the 13th-ranked Case Western Reserve University softball team has adjusted its schedule at the 2024 NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic this weekend.

CWRU will no longer face Texas Lutheran on Sunday, March 3. Instead, the Spartans will take on Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday, February 29, at 8 p.m. and DePauw on Sunday, March 3 at 9 a.m.

As of Wednesday night, the remainder of the Spartan schedule has not changed. On Friday, Case Western Reserve is scheduled to play seventh-ranked Linfield at 11 a.m. and 12th-ranked Belhaven at 1 p.m. On Saturday, CWRU is scheduled to face ninth-ranked Virginia Wesleyan at 10 a.m. and 16th-ranked East Texas Baptist at 12 p.m. And on Sunday, in addition to DePauw, CWRU is scheduled to play Wartburg at 11 a.m.
