The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team, ranked 16th by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, was selected to the 2024 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship as announced by the organization in a selection show on Monday. CWRU will be making its second consecutive tournament appearance, reaching the postseason in back-to-back years for the first time in program history, and is receiving its fourth all-time tournament selection.

CWRU will be facing the University of Dubuque in the first round at the DeVos Fieldhouse in Holland, Michigan, on the campus of Hope College on Thursday, November 21. In addition to those three schools, 10th-ranked Millikin, Otterbein, 25th-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Cornell College, and Greenville will be making the trip to Michigan for the first three rounds of the tournament. Case Western Reserve finished the regular season with an overall record of 24-7 and a mark of 5-2 in University Athletic Association play. Six of the eight UAA schools will be playing in the national tournament, the most of any Division III conference. The Spartans were ranked 22nd in the final NCAA Power Index of the regular season to receive one of the at-large selections.

CWRU has an all-time postseason record of 1-3. Last season, the team fell to Stevens Point in five sets at Hope. In 2015, the Spartans defeated Mary Washington in four sets before a sweep at the hands of Juniata. Case Western Reserve dropped a five-set match to Cortland in its postseason debut in 2010. The program has never faced the Dubuque Spartans in its history.
