The Case Western Reserve University women's track and field team continued its success in the 2023 outdoor season, with one member of the team qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships and winning a University Athletic Association individual title. The Spartans totaled seven All-UAA honors at the conference meet and three All-Region honors. In addition, three school records fell during the campaign.

Junior thrower Adrienne Wachtman qualified for the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the javelin throw after setting a school record of 41.71 meters at the UAA Outdoor Championships. She placed 18th in the country with a mark of 34.99 meters at the national championship in Rochester, New York.

Wachtman won the javelin throw at the conference meet, defending her title in the event. She also placed third in the discus throw with a heave of 38.55 meters to earn her third career All-UAA honors. In the high jump, senior jumper Mia Vargo placed third by clearing 1.57 meters for her third career all-conference honors. On the first day of competition, the CWRU 4x800-meter relay of senior runner Danielle Sarno, sophomore runner Marquis Globokar, junior runner Grace Jackson, and first-year runner Lauren Iagnemma placed third with a time of 9:30.60 to bring the Spartan total of All-UAA honors to seven.

Overall, Case Western Reserve placed fifth in the conference with 57.5 points.

Three members of the team earned All-Great Lakes Region honors from the USTFCCCA. Wachtman had the best mark in the region with her school record heave in the javelin throw. Senior runner Melissa Phung-Rojas received All-Region accolades for her time in the 800-meter run, setting a school record at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite when she crossed the line at 2:14.64. Junior hurdler/jumper Emily Hopkins also recorded a top five mark in the region by bounding 11.39 meters in the triple jump at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships.

In addition to her school record in the 800-meter run, Phung-Rojas ran a program-best time in the outdoor 3,000-meter run. At the Carnegie Mellon Invite, she finished the race in 10:48.34 to set a new school record.

The Spartans won the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships, placing first out of 11 schools with 111 points on April 15 in Delaware, Ohio. Wachtman (javelin throw) and Hopkins (triple jump) won events for CWRU, and Sarno (800-meter run), Iagnemma (1,500-meter run), and sophomore thrower Lauren Roskuszka (javelin throw) all added runner-up finishes. It was the second consecutive year the CWRU women's track and field team placed first at the meet.

In the classroom, five members of the team—Jackson, Phung-Rojas, Vargo, senior runner Julia Kocherzat, and senior vaulter Victoria Zhao —received CSC Academic All-District honors, and 28 team members earned UAA All-Academic recognition.
