Prior to CWRU: Was a four-year member of the Katy High School cross country and track and field teams, where she was coached by James Darcey, Jason Reed, and Kayla Saam...Ran top times of 59.23 seconds in the 400-meter dash, 2:20 in the 800-meter run, and 12:40 in the two-mile for cross country...Helped team place 12th at the 2015 Texas State Cross Country Championships and won the Katy Track & Field District Championship in 2017, 2019...Competed in the 4x400m relay at the 2016 Texas Regional Championships...Finished as runner-up in the 4x800m relay at the 2018 Texas Relays Competition...Ranked in the top 10 in Katy High School history for both the 400m and the 800m events...Ranked 15th of 830 students academically...Named to First Team Academic All-State...Received the Katy UIL Scholar Award and various awards for Academic Excellence in AP/Pre-AP Chemistry, Word History, and English...Also played soccer and basketball in high school...Helped club soccer team win the Texas Soccer ECNL Championship as a forward in 2018.
